Default Folder Size in Windows XP

Is there a way to permenantly change it?

 

This question is along that same line of thought, if there is a 400 folder max, how many sub-folders can there be?.I?ll be 50 years of age in April, and trying to rememeber the names of 400 folders or more, don?t work for me. I would just use the folding tree method that ms uses.

I take photos for seven different groups, and there are many different groups inside of each of the seven. It take me a little more time, to open the folders, but I don?t have to remember the name of say ?folder 932? which would be on page 67. I can just look into the 150 folders to find the direction I?m going?just a thought?wobbles

 

The 400 folder max is easily fixed. (Note: This is a registry hack - make a backup of your registry first, just in case)
Increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000

To use the Regedits: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
