Running XP Home SP3. I just reinstalled the operating system. After a number of software installs I ran defrag. Windows loaded the operating system right in the middle of the hard drive so there is free space on both sides. Some files loaded in front, some files behind the locked files. Assuming that closer to the top provides faster access, is there any way to move the files behind the locked files to in front of the locked files?

Defrag was performed by tune Up Utilities, they tell me their product can't relocate the files.

I would download and install/run Ccleaner "first" before running Diskeeper, assuming all updates are installed

    Ccleaner:

I run both of these utilities after i do a reinstall of Windows and after all window critical updates are installed.then i start gathering my AV protection..
