So, here's what appears to me to be my problem. When I wake my computer from sleep, my AV attempts to use (bombards) my wireless internet connection trying to update. Well, it kills it. I suppose maybe it's an issue of, since the connection was up when the PC went to sleep, right when it wakes up, it still "thinks" it is, and so the AV tries to use it, when really, it's trying to reconnect, and then the problem starts. Anyway, I've tried changing the update settings but it seems like unless I just turn it off completely, it's going to try to auto-update as soon as the PC wakes up. So, I was wondering if there was any kind of program that could delay a program or service at wake-up like they do for start-ups. Or, if you have any other ideas as to how I might fix this problem. It's mainly just annoying, I'll have to disconnect, wait for AV to stop trying to use the connection, reconnect, and possible disconnect and reconnect again.
