You did say you built this thing yourself? ;)

Anyway, maybe it's still on your comp somewhere, and if anything can find it Everything will. It's just the most amazing computer search tool ever.

btw, once you are happy about Everything, do yourself a big favour and switch off Windows' Indexing service, useless thing!

Earthling had a great suggestion. However, on the folder that was deleted and still appears, right click on it and choose properties. At the top, it should show the path to where it is located. Did you empty the recycle bin after deleting? Also, is it showing in the normal view of My Documents or are you searching for it?

Everything found the folder exactly where it is.(I like it )
and I switched windows indexing off the second I rebooted after installing Vista Ultimate 64bit. along with many other things that bloat out windows..

Yes I emptied recycle bin and tried deleting through Total commander which I use instead of explorer.. no joy...!

    Path shows correct also.

    Any more ideas fellas ??

    Cheers..

thanks Novice.. I read everything but still nothing works...
this is the pop up I get when I now try to delete the folder.

It is associated with nothing nor shared or connected to another user account as I am the only user account on this PC.

    Any more Ideas guys???

Thanks so much for your suggestions so far, I am trying them all. :)
