Deleted my sound card driver?

I thought I was fixing my computer by getting rid of un needed programs when really I screwed it up.

I was going through all of my programs in add/remove programs and accidentally deleted a file called sound max. Now when I try and play music it tells me that I don't have a soundcard or I don't have the driver. How do I fix this problem. Please try and be specific, I am kind of slow.

I have a Dell so I went to the Dell link. The only problem is Dell sucks and I can't find any help on that web site.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
