I have a usb jump drive that I was using in fixing a computer. I copied very important data to the drive and then went on to reformat and install windows.

In the process of setting up the partitions of the hard drive I inadvertently deleted the partition on my jump drive.

I need to get this databack. The only program that seems to work is "Data Recovery Wizard" Unfortunatly it costs 70 dollars to save the files it recovers. I dont have this kind of money.

I need this data if it is at all possible to recover I would like to get it right away. ASAP

Try the free and easy to use "PC Inspector File Recovery". Do a search on this website to find it.

The PC Inspector doesnt work. I have already tried it. It wont show my usb drive. Only harddrives. Only "Data Recovery Wizard" has found anything but they charge 70 dollars to save your data.

All depends on how valuable that data is to you?

$70 or start again with a lesson learnt.

Doubt wether you will find any freeware to do the trick. :(

Thanks anyway. I found a program that got it back for 40 dollars. "VirtualLabs" It recovered everything including the filestructer and time stamps.
