Deleted Program Files By Accident, Now How Do I Re-Un-install It?

This pc has two hard drives and I was cleaning (deleting unwanted files) on the secondary one which only contains data files. Than to my surprise I launched Adobe Photoshop CS2 a day later only to find it looking for missing files (as in the program won't even launch). It than occurred to me that there was an ''Adobe'' folder I deleted by accident. :cry

I can't believe I made such a beginner mistake but I haven't met anyone that installs programs on a secondary drive in ages. Don't really need the darn program anymore. I had defragmented the hdd a few times after that. Don't know if that matters.

Is there a way for me to uninstall this program now?

Or get the files back?

I rather go the easy route, whichever is better.

Are the files still in the Recycle Bin?

Might try system restore to a point before you made the whoopsy darn.

 

The best way to properly uninstall the program is to reinstall it, and then uninstall it. If you're not able to do that, Revo Uninstaller might be able to help you remove registry remnants, etc.

 

AFAIK, the Paid version has that capability. It supposedly can clean up registry remnants After the program has been uninstalled.

Of course, two other possible choices for registry cleanup are CCleaner and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner

 

Out of every response so far, that was an interesting theory. I guess that could potentially work. Only problem is I don't have the install disc anymore.
