Deleted tbc.dll but still having having troubles

    I found you by googling tbc.dll.

    I deleted tbc.dll but am still having having troubles. My computer shuts down when I try to open Internet explorer, Publisher and now Word. Microsoft error report says it is a dll problem. Searched dll's which is how I dound tbc.

    I'm now using Mozilla Firfox and seems I can't download much of the software you suggest - I can't use TrendMicro, or McAfee Stinger. I can't even download updates to explorer w/o computer shutting down

    I run spybot and adaware successfully. I downloaded HiJack but when I try to install my computer shuts down. Any thoughts??

    Mondo. It would help you more if you started your own thread regarding your problem as every infestation is different.

    If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

    NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.
