    Hello,
Installed ET Quake Wars on my girlfriend PC last night, was not running great so I thought I would update her drivers.
I downloaded and saved the latest forcewear drivers for Nvidia FX5900 graph card, l went into add and remove programs there was three choices, I saw one had "force" in the title so I deleted that one. Then stared the set up and install from the saved file and it said "The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardwear, setup will now exit"

I tried a few games to be told "Failed to find a suitable display device" Looked back into add and remove there was two left :Nvidia Display Drivers and :Nvidia Drivers

Went to device manager, the graph card is no longer showing up in there but does have 2 exclamation marks next to:NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge and Ethernet Controller (she uses a usb modem, dont know if the ethernet has any relevance)

She no longer has her disc that came with the card and also has system restore disabled.
    She has:
    AMD Athlon
    FX5900
    Windows XP

Im very sure Ive deleted the wrong drivers, could you please help as lm getting nagged to death, any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

You need to reinstall your chipset drivers for the NVidia chipset. You should be able to download them from your motherboard/PC manufacturer's web site or from Major Geeks: http://www.majorgeeks.com/NVIDIA_nForce_Unified_Driver_Windows_2000XP_d4299.html If this driver doesn't repair the drivers with the yellow "!", then go to your motherboard makers web site. Reboot after installing the chipset drivers. Then install this video driver: http://www.majorgeeks.com/NVIDIA_Forceware_2KXPMCE_d3294.html If, for some reason, this driver doesn't work, go here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_163.71.html Both links are for the exact same driver, so the MG link should work just fine.
