there's a folder "i386" on my usb drive. I failed to setup SP2 on an old OS install before i got my xp sp2 disk. i cant delete it on this pc or laptop vista. vista just says i need permission. with my xp it says something like access denied i386 check that the disk is not write protect or full or file is in use.
anyways i have also tried this app i have called unlocker to unlock it and delete on reboot, also tried an application called Killbox. no luck. i need a force delete or a way to take the security off of the folder to be able to delete it. i have tried like a previous post said to uncheck the read only but once i apply and check again its check again, and that goes on as an endless battle. Oh i cant even go into the folder.

im running xp pro sp2 (ntfs)
    single dvdrw no flop
    drive letter H

    - maybe some kind of auto dvd run batch file or something?
    - would a linux live cd (not if one will read ntfs) get around the security?
