Deleting everything?

So my laptop has been messing up 4 long time now...i think i got some type of spyware... b4 u say got to that section ive already did an it really wasnt workin...an im kinda fed up wit downloadin all dese programs jus 2 check jus so i could download more programs dat aint helpin...so i was wondering if i have my hardrive wiped of everything an get windows re-installed will that fix every thing...basicly i wanna know how 2 make it like i jus brought it again

 

OK...im not 2 computer literate...so could u dumb it down more if possible...thanx a bunch

 

Just a thought for you: If you have a serious malware issue, reformatting alone will not be enough. I've tried it before, so I speak from experience on this issue. The only way is thru the Geeks Malware forum...it usually takes me several days to run thru everything & get to post my Hijack This logs & then get responses, but it is well worth the effort! Deleting will erase all information and files, including malware. Now if your useing a non legit copy or installer for xp, it may include malware that may cause your problem to be recurring.
