Deleting Previously Entered Info

This is my first time to the message boards and my brain is now fried from looking through posts...lol...

running windows xp
using msn 8 browser
pentium 4 2.20GHz
2.19 GHz
256 MB ram
and not sure what else you may need...just let me know

ok, i was wondering if there is anyway to erase previously enter information from the boxes...like when i have looked up driving directions and have had to enter an address or city and state, this info appears everytime when i return to the site when i right click in the box, it drops down a list of everything ive ever entered before. or like when i go to a certain gaming website, and go to enter my screenname, i can right click on the box and it will show every screenname ive ever entered in there, including one that has my password attached from a time when i wasnt paying attention to what i was doing...lol. or if ive searched the web for something, everytime i go back there, it will show what i was searching for in the drop down box. is there anyway to erase this info or a freeware program that will do it. thank you for your time, and if you need more info just let me know.

 

thanks robo for your quick response.....yes i have cleared cookies, temp files and history, i have also gone into internet options, and under auto complete, have cleared forms and passwords but the info is still showing up.....ggrrr...lol

any other ideas? thanks

 

Sometimes on the drop down list you can high light the name from the list and press delete from your keyboard to clear the list.

 

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol....i had previously tried highlighting the info and right clicking it to bring up the menu with delete in it and it didnt work.......BUT YOUR SUGGESTION WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TYTYTYTYTYTY... i cant believe it was that simple...lmao you are a doll ty sooooooooooo much for your reply....
