Deleting specfic files

Oh, I know the answers probably somewhere on this board, but there comes a point in time when searching through umpteen million posts is just too difficult. So, here's what I need to know:

CAN THE FILES IN THE FOLDERS BELOW BE DELETED?

Windows 98SE

C:\Windows\Windows Update Setup Files
Bunch of .cab files and some .exe files

C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files
A lot of ActiveX control (alpha-numeric) files, a Shockwave, Hotmail and some other files.

C:\Windows\Cache
Two folders: Adobe Reader 6.0; Adobe Reader 6.0.1
(I'm using 6.01 with 6.02 update

C:\Program Files\Uninstall Information

OK, here's the deal...
C:\Windows\Windows Update Setup Files
Basically a copy of the origional windows install CD... it allows programs that may need to copy files from the CD to access them from your harddrive instead... it can be deleted, but u may not want to unless you have the origional CD handy

C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files
A bunch of program files downloaded by internet explorer... basically internet installation temp storage... go ahead and clear it out.

C:\Windows\Cache
Temporary holding for some programs during install... go ahead and delete it

C:\Program Files\Uninstall Information
OK... this is the one you don't want to touch... it contains all of the uninstallation information for many of the programs you have installed on your computer... delete these and you may not be able to cleanly uninstall something later.

Ok, so per OBT...

Deleting C:\Windows\Windows Update Setup Files...good.
Deleting C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files...excellent.
Deleting C:\Windows\Cache...wonderful!
Deleting C:\Program Files\Uninstall Information...good...wait...WHAT? BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH? (What did OBT say? DON'T DELETE THIS?)...OH NOOOOOOOoooooooo.
