Dell 1525: Itunes, IE, continually freezing

    I have a new (1 yr old) Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista. Out of the blue, nearly anytime I open Itunes, my computer freezes. This has also been happening with IE, however, with less frequency. Of note, virus scans are up to date and run daily. What is going on? Is this a hardware or software issue?
