Anybody have any experience with opening up a Dell XPS computer case? I just got a new one recently and obviously know how to release the side panel but I was wondering if it's possible to take the faceplate off the front somehow. When I take off the side panel I can see two clips towards the top and two tabs in slots below that down the side of the faceplate that would seem to release it(much like on the older cases) but I can't get at the other side and can't figure out if it's latched somewhere at the top, or even how I would get at the top to release it if I could find the spot. I have an older XPS and on those it was simple to release the tabs in the slots because it allowed you to get at both sides of the faceplate. These new cases have me a little confused though and I don't want to mess anything up. Whatever happened to technology making things simpler anyway? :(

There isn't a manual that deals with my issue. No one else has a Dell XPS?

I’m at Dell Headquarters in Austin, Texas and I saw this thread. Which generation/model of XPS is it? If you can't tell, I can always look it up by service tag but don't post that here. PM that if need be. If I can figure out which it is I can go look at one in our demo lab here and hopefully figure it out.
