I am trying to upgrade the video card associated with my Dell Lattitude C600 in the CDockII docking station. The laptop and the CDockII each have an ATI Mobility 128 but I'm limited in game play etc. Also want to be able to use DVI and dual FP's when it's docked. CDockII has only PCI slots.

I installed an ATI Radeon 9250 PCI card in the CDock II. I have set the
Laptop will not boot up in the dock station when the laptop video setting is on 'dock card' setting unless I remove the new card! If I set the laptop video boot up as 'system' everything boots fine, but does not recognize either card in the CDock. Seems the 2 video cards in the CDock can't peacefully coexist.

Any suggestions? Know how to disable the OEM video card in the CDockII? or am I just stuck with the OEM setup forever?

No, I'm trying to allow the docking station to provide the beter card, not change the card in the laptop itself.

I do this successfully with my IBM T23 and a PNY dual head card in the docking station. Ought to be able to do similiar with the CDock Docking station.

You are correct, CDockII is the Dell docking station for the Lattitude series laptops.

    Thanks for your help.
