I've got a laptop infront of me, with only three keys working, up and down arrows and esc. Same goes with an external keyboard as well as another keyboard for this laptop. I thought it was becuase I changed the processor out, but I replaced it and it still doesn't work. I can't change the boot priority, or make any changes in bios.

    Thanks

IF you just replaced the processor maybe you need to recheck all the connections...especially if you have any of those ribbon type cables that snap into connectors on the mobo..

I did check everything, and I would have agreed with you, if I had not gotten the same result with two different internal keyboards and one external. The external jack has nothing to do with keyboard or ribbon cables.
