Dell Dimension 8200 VRS Biostar P4M900M4

    OK I'm tryin to sell someone My Biostar P4M900M4 Build , Motherboard 2.8GHz Pentium 4 CPU, 1GB DDR2 Ram to replace the old hardware that's in the dell. Can someone kindly explain the huge differences and what kind of performance boost there gonna notice, and if it were you would you do it?? I would.

    Note the dell has installed 256mb or Rambus ram..

    Yes it's better. Now will it fit in the Dell case as a lot of Dells use non-standard boards.

    If you had to, you (or the person you're trying to sell it to) could pick up a cheap mini tower case for $30-$40 (the P4M900-M4 is a micro ATX board) to put it in.

    newegg? by time shipping's done it cost a butt load, the local comp usa cheapest case is roughly $50.00.

    Got any local computer shops in your area? I got a case (5 bay mid-tower w/450w PSU) for my P4M900-M4 for $35 at a local shop. It's kinda flimsy metal but fit my needs.

    The only computer shops around here is one which when my gf's laptop was broken they tried selling her a Pentium 3 laptop for 200 dollars.
