Dell Dual Band 1470 Wireless Adapter will not connect

I have a Dell 1300 laptop, It has an integrated wireless adapter Dell 1470 mini pci card. I can see wireless networks, but it will not connect to any of them. I have tried it in several locations including my house, which has a secured wireless connection. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, disabled and enabled. It will connect with an ethernet cable. I tested it and it passed configuration tests on the adapter. I have tried letting Windows control and used Dell wirless configuration tool. Nothing is working. Any suggestions?

 

:majorI resolved the issue. Once it was out of Safe Mode, I disable a third party Wireless configuration that was controlling the wireless networks, Windows took over at that point and everything connected.
