dell inspiron 1150

Hello
I have a dell that had a milkshake poured in it then sat untoched for about a year then started working again worked great for a long time till the power jack broke off the motherboard. now the problem is the harddrive wont come out it almost liked its glued in.

I need to know how to get the hard drive out.

any ideals ?

This will give you an idea, however all cases are different so the method of removal will be different too.

 

thanks for the reply very good video but I know how to remove and reinstall a hard drive
its just that this one is stuck and wont move like it glued in I was wanting to
know if anyone know of some way of getting it unstuck like could i spray
something on it to loosen it up or how bad would a screwdriver & hammer would hurt it.

 

Ah, ok.

I cant see why giving a tap with a screwdriver would harm it?

I think that you are removing this to use in another rig, yes?

So if you cant get it out its useless so you may aswell have a go.
