dell inspiron 1525. cant even watch videos.

    I got a free dell inspiron 1525 and I cant even watch youtube videos lol. The CPU usage spikes to 100% whenever I try to watch videos. Is this laptop just that much garbage? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I even installed a new hdd and im still having problems. Ran spyware checks and I dont have any spyware. Any suggestions?

    How much RAM? The base model shipped with 512MB but it's upgradable to 4GB. If you have less than 2GB, that would be a bottleneck.

    It has 2 gig. I was thinking about upgrading to 4 but I got it for free so I dont see the point. Ill just buy a new computer I guess.
