Dell Inspiron 1525

    I reinstalled Vista on this laptop and downloaded the drivers for wireless from the Dell website but it still isn't working. Anyone got any ideas?

    I have also tried the Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Mini Card which didn't work.

    Does Device Manager show any red Xs or yellow !s?
    Have you set up your firewall to allow your wireless device out?

    Are you sure you got the right drivers?And when you installed ALL the drivers did you do it in the RIGHT ORDER?? Dell SYS utilitys -Chipset-Video-network modem-sound-THEN WIRELESS and whatever after that.
