I purchased a Dell Inspiron 24 3455 right after Christmas. I have had no problems at all until today. I turned it on and everything functioned normally, but I have no Dell logo, no screen, no nothing. I invoked the LCD BIST about a half hour ago, and the machine won't come out of it...what now?

It's still under warranty... return it.

I don't understand how you can say "everything functioned normally" then follow this with "I have no Dell logo, no screen, no nothing."
What do you consider function normally? Without a display, how can you tell?

I'd turn off the computer and start BIST again

If you don't see the series of colors flashing on-screen at the start, then it seems like either the LCD is dead or the video chip on the AIO motherboard is gone.

Since it is only about a month old, you should be contacting either Dell or the place it was purchased for warranty info.

Thank you, but this is the last resort.

I said "functioning normally" as compared to the 100 times it started up previously. (Deleted.)

No one is trying to insult anyone. It's very important to be as detailed as possible when describing issues.

I am having the same problem, searched length of BIST and this thread popped up.
Wondering what you were able to come up with for solution to no video?

You need to start a new thread of your own as this one is three months old from a different user.
Start a new thread and be very specific about the details of your actual system brand/model and Operating System and exactly what problems you have had.
