Dell Inspiron 630m wifi prob!!!

    my dell inspiron 630m notebook (3months old) behaves weird these days:rolleyes: ....i hav XP home edition
    The wifi doesnt connect after resuming frm hibernation(its dell wireless 1370 WLAN mini-pci card)....there is a function key in my keyboard which on/offs the wifi. It doesnt connect even though I press the function key 10-20 times.....when I reboot the machine it works but after 10-20 mins....can the geeks here help me fix this bug...guess its some hardware issue:confused:

    Check the properties of the wifi ....it may have "let the computer turn this device off" enabled.

    hey TimW thanx for the quick reply....i didnt find that feature in my wifi properties.....any suggestion??

    I really recommend disabling hibernation ....system hog ...
    When you right click on your pci card, what do you get (tabs)?
