I have a Dell XPS M1530 with Vista installed.

The XPS M1530 has a volume increase decrease button on the keyboard and when pressed it activates the dell quickset display which shows the volume bar increasing/decreasing.

My problem is it takes ages to move. If the volume is at its lowest setting and i hold the increase button its takes almost 10 seconds to full volume.

You may say ten seconds thats not long. Well then hold any key on your keyboard and count to ten. You will see it feels alot longer.

Is there anyway in windows to increase the speed of this volume increase?
