    Dell 8300 XPS, i5. 1T

I want to delete Dell Stage, Dell Video Stage and Dell Music Stage.
Is this all part of the preloaded os and cannot be done or will Revo do it?
    Thank you

    Greetings, peterr...

Uninstalling Dell Stage should remove all components, with no ill effects...

    Would you advise Revo?

If it was my machine, I'd try to uninstall using the Dell or Windows uninstall routines - I only use something like Revo when I think there's a problem...

Dell Stage and Dell Photo uninstalled with no problem.

Dell Video stopped the uninstall and said it can't be done because Dell video is part of Win 7 wmc.

I hope no damage is done and the video just can't be uninstalled b/c it is part of the system.

I used add/remove and finally got rid of Dell Stage Video.

I am finding some remnants of programs I removed. One is Norton where C:?users public downoads has a Norton folder with download manager, system info etc
Is there some way I can rid the system of this folder safely or should I leave it alone?

Basically I am not sure what to do with folders I find that belong to removed programs.
I used the removal tool too.

    Glad you're getting things accomplished...;)

If you've already removed a program (and it uninstalled properly), then it's usually safe to delete any leftover folders - the folders are placed there in case you change your mind and decide to reinstall...

One way to verify is to rename the folder (ie: if the folder's named 'Norton', rename it to 'Norton2') - run the machine through some paces, and if there are no obvious ill effects from the renaming routine, then the folder should be safely deleted...
