Dell UltraSharp 2009W Color Settings

Hi, I just bought this monitor. I read a lot of people comments that the default color settings is not the optimal, and configuring them you can get a very nice color adjustement.

Someone have this same monitor? I need some help on what parameters to put.

 

There's a driver package dated March 10, 2008 for that monitor. If your drivers are earlier than that, you may want to get the driver, which should contain any adjustment capabilities.

It states; Dell 2009W, Driver, Multi OS, Multi Language, Multi System, v.32T103, A00-00

 

I installed no drivers when I put the monitor. I downloaded the file from the link you send me but nothing happens except for a extract of four files, none of them executable. I think that maybe is for monitor detection?

I just want a color adjustement if someone have done that on this monitor.

 

If you've extracted the files, they should be in C:\Dell\Drivers\R174380.

Open Device Manager. Expand the Monitors listing. Right click on the listed monitor and choose Update Driver. Say NO to the internet/Web access. Click Install from a list or specific location etc. Place a check mark in the box: Include this location in the search. Browse to the C:\Dell\Drivers\R174380 folder.

You may have to restart your machine.
