I have a dell PC that I need to restore from scratch. The dell USB keyboard was working fine before I restored it and now it doesn't work. Do you think possibly a special driver or something in the bios needs to be changed? Also I connected another keyboard with a usb connector and it worked. Any ideas what to do?

go to dell website find the support page then look for drivers you may have to enter the service tag number on your computer, the drivers for your specific model should come up ,

Tried there is no keyboard drivers for the usb on there site. In device manager says raid controller is missing not sure that has anything to do with it but I didnt think there was a raid controller. ANy other suggestions? Do you think updating the bios might work?

It seems some keys work,I just cant type of number light key will not light up. The cap lock key works, control alt delete works but there is a number 9 lock key on which I believe it preventing me from doing anything. ANy body know how to reset a dell keyboard? I am not sure what the 9 lock key means but I cannot get rid of it. I tried connecting to another pc and same thing happens so they keyboard is somehow locked up.
