XP Home SP2- upon, booting I get a BSOD error 0x000000BE and the offending file is ACPI.SYS. The PC boots OK in safe mode. I haven't really done any research at the MS knowledge base just yet; I thought I'd post here first.... I'm pretty sure that ACPI has to do with the system power management software/drivers.... that's all I know right now. Any help?
    Thanks!

UPDATE- the PC no longer boots in safe mode. It did once, I shut down, rebooted, and now it just cycles thru restarts, no more BSOD even after selecting Disable Auto Restart.... it does this in Normal Mode, Safe Mode, you-name-it-mode..... help!

UPDATE 2- I disabled the hard drive UDMA in the BIOS and the PC booted to the desktop, but still restarted for no good reason. I've swapped RAM and power supply, and still the wierdness. Still no more BSOD.... maybe I'll swap CPU's and see what happens....
