I have a Dell Inspiron 1160. And all of my pins bent on the PCMCIA card. So I took it apart and bent them back with a mechanical pencil. Now I had to take the whole entire laptop apart to fix these pins and when I put it back together I DID NOT have any left over screws. Now my problem is when I put everything back together I press the power button when the laptop boots up only the Power light and Battery light show for about .4 seconds. And when I plug the laptop in to a power source none of the lights show up. I did not ground myself while doing the reairs so I hope I did not shock my motherboard. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
