I just moved my XPS from one office to another, when I turned the computer on for the first time after moving I got the following error message:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt.
    \Windows\System32\Config\system

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows setup using the original setup CD."

When I tried that I got a message stating that there where no hard drives on this system. I entered setup F2 and did a hard drive diagnostics and Disk0 and Disk2 passed [I don't have a disk installed in the middle slot which I'm guessing is Disk1].

When the computer first starts up I don't hear the hard drives. I opened the case to make sure that nothing had come loose while moving the computer and everything appeared to be OK. Is there any king of switch, fuse or circuit breaker to check?

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot and solve this is greatly appreciated. :)
