I have a problem which I can't figure out the solution to.

I have written a program in Delphi which searches a folder every 1sec for a file.
When that file exists it send a f24 keysend.

The problem I have is that on one computer it keeps throwing up a memory access violation.... Protected memory.

Has anyone got the time to help? If so I will post error files etc when I get to my desktop.

Have you worked out at which point in your code the memory access violation occurs? If you can isolate the problematic code, I'd be glad to have a look.

This is the really confusing thing... it doesnt happen at a point in my code... it happens when my code is running along side the program Screen Monkey and its only happening on one machine. I need to run these programs at the same time as my program allows us to use flash animation that varies in length and writes an EOF file that my prog sees, sends keysend and deletes EOF file and waits for it to appear again.

I have tried freeing the memory as the attachment shows... I even restarting my prog everytime it had deleted the file put i still get the attached memory error.

It runs fine on my desktop and on another PC at work but i can not get it to work on the G5M100 Unit... I have even changed the motherboard as I was originally using an E14314

I gather that the only interaction between your program and Screen Monkey is the F24 keybd_event. What does F24 do, does the error occur if you send other F* keybd_events?
Does the problem PC have the same .NET runtime installed as the other PCs?

Hi guys I am currently working in Borland Delphi 7. In the program I work in a start button shows up if one runs(F9) the code. I work on my laptop with the following system properties: windows 7, i5processor 2.40GHz.

The problem I have is that if I copy the folder containing all necessary files on a PC (with same system properties). The start button does not appear(after running). No errors are suggested by the program.

Does any one have a idea why the start button seems to appear at my laptop and not my PC. (The Delphi versions are the same for both cases)

It's best to start a new topic instead of replying to an old one, but maybe some setting in the program is different?
