dep stressing me

i've been burning movies thru windows movie maker now all of a sudden i get a dep message and its shutting movie maker down very stressfull for me i cant turn dep off or figure out why it is just now doing this any advice would be greatly appreciated. i run windows vista on an acer laptop

 

So what was the exact message and does restarting the laptop allow you to continue?

Is this laptop AMD or Intel?

 

its an amd dual core i removed all newer updates from windows fixed the dep problem but windows media still wont burn songs to disc it does 3 to 4 then stops burning

 

Open the control panel and goto SYSTEM click the advanced tab under Performance click Settings then data execution prevention click the add button navigate to c:\program files\windows movie maker\ select moviemk.exe
and reboot

alternatively you can select ( turn off DEP of all programs )
