Deposit Slip Software?

Trying to help a friend...

Our Accts. Receivable Dept. has some incoming checks that due to their nature have to be segregated into two different bank accts that don't support online deposit slips. Guessing there's about 20 entries to ea. slip/bank most days.

This is creating manual work (hand written deposit slips). I'm looking for software that will automate this, it just has to be able to list, add the deposit, print the acct. and routing number, no interface needed. Will pay for but since one user would like to keep it around $100. Found a few programs but no trial or track record, so leery. Does anyone use anything like this?

Found a Excel 2007 template, but we're still at 2003 so won't work for us now.

 

Thank you Halo, added the Excel sheet to work PC, looks like it will work, will test Mon. Never heard of Office Accounting, you gave me plenty of options. Will post results for those that might want/need.

Excel sheet works fine, user did not like the text direction but you can make a second sheet that inserts into slip cells, so user likes it now.

Tried DepositWiz not any better than using Excel IMO. Did not care for it's auto naming of deposits and limited export function.

Did not try Office Accounting (IT has to approve). At the moment they're short handed and didn't want to pester them. User will download it to home laptop and test it through.

 

Tried EZ-DepositSlip www.ezdepositslip.com Works evert time at my bank. Reports are fantastic.
