Desert Combat - performance help

    Hey hows it goin? Can sum1 please help me with my Battlefield Destert Combat game? I have an Intel Celeron 2.4GHZ, 512MB RAM, Win Xp home and radeon 9100 IGP video card and i my desert combat is running especially slow and jumpy. I have set the graphic setting to low and it is still jumoy and slow as ever. I have a Cable internet connection and im getting good ping. How can i make it better? Cheers ---- Koppo

    sadly thats about as good as it will get mainly because A) its a low end card b) its integrated onto the mobo and C) most likely its using shared memory off your 512 ram. Also a celeron doesnt help the case either.

    I agree, I think that replacing the Vid card would be your best bet. You could also upgrade the CPU, but I think it wouldn't be necessary in this case. A new video card will drastically increase the performance of the system and let you play this awesome mod the way it's intended to be played.
