Desert Combat White Widow Server

Well it looks like SYNFLUX has upgraded the server and DCX on it, you'll need DCX in order for it to work.
I have noticed a few small bugs in it, but nothing that major.
There will be a new DCX patch out soon for the 0.6 Version of DC.
I'll keep you guys informed of what is happening on this server.

Cashy,
Is DC .6 needed to login to the server? I have .5 loaded and it won't let me in. The progress bar goes to the far right, then crashes to desktop.

ok...i already have dcx...so i guess i'll install dc .06 tonight and i'll try to get on.

 

well, i got on last night and there was only 1 other person on the server, and the lag was so bad it booted me. oh well.

 

Yer, swatshark was having the same problem last night. I on the other hand wasn't, and I'm on the other side of the planet.
Might of been an ISP problem. I know he's with bellsouth.

They absolutly ruined the go-carts in regular DC.

 

what i don't like about dc .6 is the substitution of the apache with the littlebird...especially on maps with heavy armor. plus, its more difficult for me to play online and they won't add single player support to the new maps. so i play the original maps alot, plus a couple of the new ones in dcx. so, i'm hooked on dcx because they aren't using the littlebird.

 

have you guys seen the rolling helo's video? is this slated for the next release of dcx?

 

I got on, laggy and someone insulted my mother.

 

Must be an ISP problem. I've been experiencing some lag on the server lately which is rare. SYNFLUX lets people speak their minds on his servers, but does his best not to let it get our of hand if he's around. Cashy and I are both admins on the White Widow DCX server. If there is a problem you can let us know. All bans must go through SYNFLUX though, because it's his server. The server is currently down at the moment awaiting the release of DCX 6. When the new version is released, the server will be back up most likely.

That is just awesome. The new DCX will rock, plain and simple. Anybody who hasn't tried DCX, definitely should. This is gonna be so much fun.
