Desktop Customization freeware/project?

    Is there a ongoing project or freeware suchas Litestep, DesktopX or FAQ, I'd liked to apply the same things found on similar sites like win customization, but don't want to pay; staying w/ a current/active url project. :confused:

    There is a good place to start. They used to have a uxtheme file patcher so you could use your own themes without using a host program. But i cant seem to find that right now... :(

    Well, seems like they've withdrawn it, which is a shame. There are instructions on how to do it yourself HERE
