Desktop equiv for turion mk 36/ml 34

    Thinking of replacing my desktop with a laptop, but the processors are not very good indication of their desktop equivalent.
    Does anyone know what an Amd Turion mk-36 would equivalate to on a desktop with intel or amd processor, also the other is the ML-34, which would be the best option?
