Desktop Error

    If this is not the right forum, please move the topic accordingly.
    I'm quite concerned about this desktop error I got: (pic below) The icons look stretched and some pictures are replaced such as my BT internet browser by the folder icon in the quick launch toolbar and so on. Any idea what might have caused this? I scanned my computer with Sophos, Microsoft antispyware and AD aware and didn't find anything. I bought my computer just over 1 month ago and I didn't have this error before.

    Another thing I'm concerned about is that sometimes when I play Battlefield 2 the computer jsut restarts itself (happened 3 times so far in 1 month) and it says that there was an error and the system couldn;t recover and after it restarts everything is back to normal.
