Desktop ghosting.

    Windows XP Pro, SP3 plus all important updates.

    Ever since I started usinga jpg image as a desktop background, if I move an icon to another position it leaves behind a feint blue line where the icon's underline was.
    Refreshing the screen removes it, so does reverting to no background.

    Not a problem, just a curiosity. why does it happen?
