Desktop Icon Colour

I have just completed a spyware scan and as a result the labels have turned blue. how do I change the colour back to white?
Any help please, I am using XP

Right, I altered the colour of the labels through control panel/display/ desktop, here I changed the colour althogh I did not get the original colour back, I am able to read the labels now without getting a migraine

 

What did you scan with? I want to avoid using that program. Seems like that is a glitch with the program if it changes the desktop labels to a different color.

 

I did a complete scan with StopZilla, this is something I have done many times with no problems at all.

 

Ah, I stay as far away from that program as possible. It is almost a rogue.

thanks for that info, I have uninstalled stopzilla now and it seems to have done it successfuly. I have Superantispyware so I will stick with that. I used stopzilla when I got a nasty that superantispyware did not detect.

 

If SAS doesn't catch something, try Malwarebytes.
The free version doesn't protect in real time but it is still an excellent program. (I have 3 paid versions running and my other windows computers are running the free version).

I will do that, I will feel more comfortable without stopzilla in view of the info you have given me. I appreciate your help.
