Desktop - Notepad message at Log-in

I just did a complete format and installation.
XP Pro, SP2 - all updated. XP OfficePro - all updated.
Various other programs. I can list if needed.
Now when I log in on my account or any of 3 others, as the desktop comes up a notepad window comes up with the following text -

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787

What is this? As far as I know everything is working fine.
