    Hi geeks,
I hope someone can help me? Recently had our computer cleaned and 'serviced' by a reputable computer chap. So it was working :) recently we started having problems that looked like malware. After the computers glitches became too annoying and we couldn't get onto the internet unless restarted and then only if the gremlins deemed fit to allow it, I downloaded all the prescribed programs from a clean computer and ran them as asked.
Once completed we had internet access and all seemed fine, but slowly it crept back, to the point again of no connection.
We are running 64 bit, Windows 10, Kaperskys anti viral, malwarebytes. Satellite internet.
I know we have been spammed and I will probably end up changing our email address to stop it all coming in.
I will attach the logs as given initially.
In order to connect I must run cc cleaner each time
I ran hitman again to rid the computer of many ad.--- cookies to be able to connect.
Then that didn't work, so I ran Rogue Killer again, I deleted a PUP and now I have connectivity.

I did run TDSSKiller, but can't find it or the log - not sure if I should run it, so will wait for instructions.
I know I shouldn't have rerun the progs but we only have this desktop and back and forth to the library 20km away was too much!

The computer is connecting now (obviously) but is super slow and I am not positive it will stay connected.

    Cheers and Thanks,
    Sharon

First, cookies are not problems. Secondly, unless you're an expert in malware removal you can cause serious problems to your operating system by using them(removal tools) without supervision.

Please review the Using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware thread for exporting a log in the proper format, and upload a fresh mblog.TXT.

Now please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Make sure to shut down your protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run JRT.exe by double-clicking it and select Run as Administrator.
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Note: That JRT may reset your home page to a google default so you will need to restore your home page setting if this happens.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Upload JRT.txt to your next message.

Next download AdwCleaner by Xplode and save to your Desktop.
    • Right- click on AdwCleaner.exe and select Run as Administrator.
    • Click on the Scan button.
    • AdwCleaner will begin...be patient as the scan may take some time to complete.
    • When it's done you'll see: Pending: Please uncheck elements you don't want removed.
    • Now click on the Report button...a logfile (AdwCleaner[S#].txt) will open in Notepad for review (where the largest value of # represents the most recent report).
    • Upload this log to your next reply.

Please download ZHPCleaner to your desktop.
    • Close all applications (including your web browsers and antivirus)
    • Double-click on ZHPCleaner to run the tool.
    • If you are using Windows Vista, 7/8/10; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click ZHPCleaner and select "Run as Administrator".
    • Please click the "J'accepte/I agree" button.
    • First press the "Scanner" button. Be patient, the scan takes longer than 5mins.
    • Do NOT fix/repair anything yet! Please upload that logfile with your next reply.
Your MGlogs.zip is very incomplete... run it again ensuring that protection software is disabled, that UAC is turned off, you are running it as Admin, and you must wait for it to tell you it is finished. Please run the GetLogs.bat file again and upload the new log.

Your PC is clean of malware, Sharon. ;)

Your logs look good! If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase it, it provide no protection. It do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. Go back to step 6 of the READ ME and re-enable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7/8/10 - it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double-click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work through the below link:

Hi again, Thank you so much Dr M!

I cant find the "hijack this" in order to delete? Could it be hidden or has something already removed it? I can only find it mentioned in the MGtools TXT file.
I have done step 4, cant find step 5, and will wait until you say to complete step 6.

    Cheers,
    Sharon

    You're welcome.

Checking your logs shows you didn't install it, please complete the rest of the instructions.
