    I used to use Mint for years and no issues. Then suddenly a couple months ago it starting going wonky. Support tried but could not seem to help. Maybe they are inundated I don't know.

    So I kept Mint and moved to Personal Capital. It worked fine also . . . for awhile. Now it's gone wonky. The issues I describe here are present on several machine to get that out of the way. I tried going to Mint and creating another Mint account using different creds. One account will download some FI and the other account in Mint won't. Personal capital is a mess too. I have 3 accounts at one bank and PCap insists on putting 2 of them in the same transactions list. I had 2 credit unions at the time this started to happen and I can use neither of them now on most finance programs. I have tried looking at authentication settings online at my banks. USAA has problems. PayPal has problems from time to time CitiBank Credit. Some issues with these mentioned are on again off again. I can make no sense of it. I've clear cache, done everything to even using 4 different browsers. Chrome, Slimjet, FF and MX5. Same thing around the table.

    I am ready to buy but I do not like these trials where you have to create a whole account to begin with. I considered Quicken but I could get and account, setup and in 10 minutes know if it works or not? But they want the whole 11 yards upfront.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for a free (not likely and I have tried a host of them) or a paid financial program that doesn't take the Supreme Court to allow you to try it?

    I appreciate the helpers at this forum. It's one of the best I've used in a long time. Many thanks, jack ":-}

    Because there is a linux distro called Mint that is pretty popular, I started reading and thought you were talking about linux.
    Then when you mentioned Personal capital, I figured out these might be Windows programs.

    You failed to mention what version of Windows you are running.

    Thank you BooBoo58. You clearly answered all I was asking. I think I've checked out AceMoney. But does it download your FI transactions? I'll check again.
