Detect Drive Letter Of External Device?

System: Windows 10

In a BAT file, I want to detect the drive letter into which an external device has been plugged in. Has the external drive been plugged into E, F or G?
How can I do this?

Not a BAT file, but you can just as easily create a shortcut to explorer.exe and set it to open to "This PC" - which will show you all connected drives / letters - including your external device(s).

How do you expect to see this notification of the drive being mounted? Win 10 show this info in the systray or programs like USB safely remove or Zentimo.
