    G'Day Fellow Geekers,

My loving parents bought me a nice sexy new laptop around 6 Months ago for a Birthday present, An Asus K53E, which is a very nice performing laptop for its pricetag and whats under the hood.

But I have been battling terrible and life threatening health issues since April 2007, and I am either stuck for months at a time In hospital battling very real and life threatening illnesses and other health complicatios, or when I do manage to start healing, I am released home, but forced to take it easy, as my health can go from good to being on my death bed in mere minutes, so a hobby of mine has been website development and PC Hardware Reviewing, so my folks surprised me this week with a brand spanking new Acer Aspire V3-571G Laptop, and I can tell you, it is 10x better than my other laptop, and the 2nd videocard in it, the NVidia GeForce 640M 2GB Videocard really packs a punch, sitting beside the Intel HD 4000 graphic chipset.

The laptop came with Windows 7 Home Premium, but I immediately formatted and installed my newly purchased Windows 8 Professional, as I love it and it also seems to use the hardware components to its full potential, however, after going to acers site and downloading ALL the latest drivers, and also the latest Acer Aprire software packages on offer for my particular model laptop.

But after installing and resetting my machine several times when requested by the driver packages, I still have 2 unrecognized devices in my device manager that I have absolutely no bloody idea what they are or where to get drivers for them obviously.

I tried the Bluetooth drivers, etc and nothing works, so I am wandering if anyone else has any idea on what devices they represent an how to rectify these missing drivers?

Any help would be massively appreciated, I hate having these 2 items sitting in my hardware device manager likd they are, and I have no idea what they possibly are.

    Kindest Regards,

Since the hardware varies within that model, did you go here http://support.acer.com/product/default.aspx?modelId=4077
and download the Hardware Vendor Detection Utility so you'd know exactly which driver to select for bluetooth, touchpad, and Wireless LAN?

It might be the 4 in 1 card reader driver that is missing.
