My Windows XP on my Sony Vaio -vgn-t370p laptop does not have sound anymore. When I look in the device manager it shows that all devices are working properly but ( there are not yellow question marks), I still do not have sound. Please help?

    Hi

What Service Pack is your XP at?

Did your sound just disapear or did you have a malware infection?

Have you checked that the volume is not muted?
Also check in Services (Control Panel > Administrative tools > Services) that the Windows Audio service is set to Started and Automatic.

What I would try is the below and if you are at SP2 only then install the UAA driver from HERE and reboot, possibly even re-install your audio driver once the UAA driver is installed.

Or if you are at SP3, then try the below originally posted from muskesnipe

    Your Sony Drivers are HERE
