I have a couple of spare monitors that have dvi and vga ports, i wanted to use some of these to hook up some old video game systems like an n64

Since i need the red white and yellow cables , what device would i go about buying to make it work with my monitor?

    If possible that is

I don't think those cables will work, you need something like this.
Those "3 RCA Cables" are Hi Def RGB - Not video and 2 audio (Yellow, Red & White)

Agreed. That's why I posted the link. Unfortunately the converter box costs as much as the game console!

The 3 RCA cables are for 1 for video and 2 for the stereo audio.

IMO, unless you are a serious retro gamer and/or you have many game cartridges, it's not worth the money.
