Diablo 2 Question

gday peeeps

im going 2 buy Diablo 2 this weekend and im wondering about battle net

If i bought Diablo 2 and LOD LEAGAL! with a cd key etc. if i rejester my CD key then uninstall diablo 2, can u keep your account when u re install it?

Is it like Steam, do u rejester an account with a CD key and then uninstall and reinstall as much as u can?

becoz i read on the Blizzard website that if u lose ur CD key u have 2 post it to the states and pay 10$ and wate for 2-4 weeks and yea i really dont want that

so if u can answer my question it would b much apericated

 

It's not like steam. You need your cd-key when you install diablo 2 so you can log into battle.net. Once your into battle.net you have to log into an account you can register for. You can have as many of these accounts as you want. If you use a hacked cd-key you won't be able to log into battle.net so don't give you key out and dont' lose it. You'll need it if you ever want to play online again.

 

ive reinstalled my copy many times and i was always able to get my accounts fine ... the only thing is, is that battlenet deletes your characters after 3 months of you not logging into your characters in your account .. like you have to play each character at least once every three months, you cannot save your characters just by logging into your account
