Diablo II expansion won't work

hey guys, i got Diablo II to work on my computer but when i put the expansion pack in it asks for the expansion cd to be in the cd-rom. (i know your thinking duh you dumbie its supposed to). well now when the cd is in the cd-rom . anyone had this happen before, the cd is in the cd drive and it still asks that the cd be put in the drive. thanks guys, (hope ya'll enjoyed my little story)

Did you try just cleaning the disc? Also, is it a legal copy, sorry, had to ask.

 

yes i am an upstanding citizen of MG so yeah its legal (i think) i copied from my friends computer. (if thats not legal please tell me so i will know and go buy the game) thanks. and yes i tried cleaning it. thanks again.

OK thats not legal. If you want a working expansion the only way is to go out and buy it. It being an older game you should find it for pretty cheep.
